Lori was so amazing and helped us execute the perfect wedding day, she was extremely easy to communicate with and went over details with us months in advance. We utilized her day of coordination and decorating services but felt we gained so much more! She was so attentive to detail and kept everything organized and running smoothly. She and her assistant Tiffany made our ceremony and reception space even more beautiful than we could’ve imagined and kept our timeline and vendors on point. Thank you so much for making our day so perfect :)

5/5 experience working with Lori and her team at Elegant Weddings & Events. Lori is extremely detail-oriented, responsive, and during our many planning sessions, prompted us with questions that we never would have thought to ask. Her decades of experience in wedding planning and officiating show, as our wedding day ran as smoothly as possible. We also utilized Lori's rental decor, which was beautiful and elegant. We received many compliments from our guests about how beautiful the decorations were. Not only is Lori professional, but she's also a friendly and calming presence. Like many brides, I was a nervous wreck on the wedding day but Lori made a point to check in on me throughout the day to make sure I was doing okay. I cannot recommend her services enough—you can thank me later!

We just got married July 14 and Lori did such an amazing job! From the beginning she was very responsive and was able to work around our budget. She gave me so many ideas and helped out with finding the right decorations for our venue. My husband and I were super happy with how everything turned out from the ceremony area to the reception. I sent her inspiration pictures and she made it look even better!! I definitely recommend her and her team. She was super sweet and kind and we loved everything about our day, thanks to Lori for being amazing with setting it all up ☺️ would definitely use her again for future events!

PROFESSIONAL, ORGANIZED, PATIENT, I could keep going. I loved everything about working with Lori. She guided me through the early process of planning which was a huge help. She helped us through our rehearsal walk through and had all timelines ready to go even a few days before the wedding. She even helped our officiant with his outline! On the day of the wedding Lori and Tiffany absolutely killed it, they worked so hard guiding our helpers through set up flawlessly, made sure everything was ready to go in perfect time. Lori did an amazing job getting the wedding party orchestrated for the walk down the Aisle. All around awesome working with elegant weddings and events, we couldn't be more happy with our experience! Lori is AMAZING, 10/10 would recommend :)

There's so much to say about Lori and her generosity! My partner and I hired her as our day-of-wedding coordinator and we can't imagine what planning would have been like without her. Even though she was just our day-of-coordinator, she supported us throughout the entire process. Her care for us and our wedding was very evident and genuine. Her leadership also really helped our wedding go smoothly. She thought of small event details that no layman would ever think of, and we are so grateful to her for her guidance. Our guests even kept asking us how we found Lori, and were complimenting her on her proficiency in event planning. We owe Lori so much, and would recommend her to absolutely everyone.

Where to begin! Our amazing wedding simply could NOT have happened in the wonderful way it did without Lori. From the moment I reached out for help “decorating” our reception, Lori was kind, responsive, thoughtful, and professional. So much so that we opted to upgrade our contract with her from reception decorator to day-of coordinator and thank goodness we did. Lori did multiple site visits, anticipated challenges, and addressed unforeseen issues and curve-balls with grace. She was proactive and thought through every detail. During our planning sessions, she asked all the right questions, even things I hadn't even thought of. She has decoration items to rent that she can recommend based on your venue, theme, etc. (see pictures). Lori was simply amazing! Words cannot express my gratitude to her and her assistant. My daughter’s wedding was so very beautiful thanks to Lori! I came to them with a simple idea and they worked their magic and brought it to life. If you think you don't need a wedding planner, think again.
I am incredibly lucky to have had her help. She always made us feel she had everything 100% under control and we needed that under a high stressed event. And the cost is absolutely reasonable and fair. I highly recommend Elegant Weddings & Events. Thank you!

We hired Lori as our Coordinator and would highly recommend her for future weddings. She was great at executing our vision. She really listened to what we needed and what areas we wanted help with. She's definitely organized and responsive. We like that she was flexible when we needed some changes in the few weeks prior to our wedding date. We also liked that she gently made suggestions for us to consider when it came to timeline, floor plan, backup planning etc which ended up helping us out a lot and making us feel more prepared going into our wedding weekend. She led our rehearsal well too, even with my family members who can be easily distracted. Lori was like a jack of all trades for us, she provided advice, encouragement, and decorating ideas, as well as took on the day of tasks to keep our wedding day on track.

Fantastic help. Probably the only vendor in the wedding that was perfect! Worked with us on every step of the way, and brought a lot of details up that I hadn’t thought of. Perfect with our budget, so helpful for the other vendors, and our availability. I highly recommend her for any help you could need around your wedding planning. She works with enthusiasm and care, truly loves what she does and it shows!

Where do I begin about Lori?? She was a literal godsend for my fiancé and I for our intimate wedding on 1/22/22. About a month prior, I realized how I didn’t have a very solid plan on how I was going to balance getting ready for our big day and ALSO finding the time to decorate our venue (albeit with some family members to help of course). I came across Lori on thumbtack and had a feeling in my gut that she would be someone I could trust to execute what I envisioned for our venue decor. She was very quick to respond, and luckily available on our wedding day. We took the plunge and I don’t regret it one bit. Her level of communication was very thorough, and she made it very obvious that she just wanted us to be happy with her services. Something that I appreciated even more from her was her flexibility with us during a family crisis involving Covid-19. We almost changed our wedding date because of it and she was so incredibly supportive and accommodating to us. We decided to keep our original wedding date, but one of my immediate family members was ultimately not able to make it to the wedding unfortunately, and he happened to be the one we originally wanted to be our officiant. By some crazy luck, Lori happens to be an officiant herself, and when we asked her she said she would be honored to be our officiant. She was also the one who suggested we FaceTime our family members who couldn’t join during our ceremony, which worked out perfectly. As our officiant, she nailed everything down to a “T” about Hunter and I’s relationship, made us laugh and cry (happy tears!!), and created an amazing love story that we will always cherish. The vows we selected from her were perfect for us as well. All in all, she was just such a delight to work with and I am beyond happy we found her.

Do you want an Aunt totally invested in your wedding, but who listens to exactly what you want and brings no drama? That's what Lori was for my wedding. Between COVID changes and planning from across the country, Lori was a life-saver. I was a bride who thought I could do it all myself but as my plans kept changing at one time or another I found myself needing help. At first I just wanted Lori to help with setting up decorations but I came to lean on her as a valuable resource. She was always so happy and excited about the wedding. Extremely flexible and easy to contact. Having that support just a text away was so helpful. She really listened to what I wanted and adjusted her services and pricing based on my need. She's also a one stop shop with a lot of her own things to rent (for a great price), planning and service offerings as well.

Where do I begin?! This woman was an absolute blessing to our life & marriage. From the moment I consulted with her, I knew she was the one. She responded SO quickly, was always a call/text away for anything and reminded me of it constantly 😊 She was so understanding and flexible when things came up and I needed to reschedule. I was so grateful for that during this time... I hired her as the officiant for my intimate beach ceremony to marry my best friend (whom I've been with over nearly 9 years) 💓 She and her kind hearted husband were SO genuinely thrilled when I told them of my adventurous plans of roaming through Oswald West forest and down to Short Sand Beach off of 101!! She ended up being...pretty much my crisis team and bridesmaids all in one! Thinking about traveling with children, licenses and planning to be married in a place I've never but ALWAYS dreamed of hiking through, was really stressful. But, I knew I could count on her and it excited us that we were not only hiring someone, but sharing this special moment with people who were so 'in it', wanting it to truly be these best and what we imagined and more. Lori is the most amazing person anyone could ask for in helping with their wedding! She is honestly the sweetest, most thoughtful and understanding person a couple could meet through the stress and the excitement of planning for a wedding. Her flexibility through this entire Covid situation and all the plans needing rescheduled do not phase her. She will do everything in her power to reschedule and keep your spirits up in the process. With all the stress of trying to last minute reschedule due to various restrictions, she will never, even for a minute stop trying to make your day special. She is by far the best person to help you prepare for your day. She will be there every step of the way and she will do so calmly and excited and make every step a breath of fresh air. My only concern is I wish I would have found her sooner because I guarantee she would have saved me mountains of stress from us trying to make all the plans ourselves. We love Lori so very much and I promise you will too! There is no person that can do these task better than her ♡ So, if you are reading this review, just know you should look no further and pick Lori for your wedding or event, you will not regret it!

I met Lori Gilles a few years ago when my husband and I had a need for Marriage coaching. Lori’s empathy, compassion, and insights went a long way towards helping us achieve the healing we needed for our marriage. So when we needed help planning our daughter’s Wedding for January this year, naturally we thought of Lori! Our daughter wanted a winter wonderland wedding, and Lori was able to “see” my daughter’s vision and help to bring it to life! I would definitely use her again for any important event, and highly recommend her.
